Root Need some Help Can't boot my Tbolt

So I gave my mom my old Thunderbolt and she came to me a few days ago not being able to boot it . It was just getting stuck at the white HTC screen . Tried to restore and it failed so I tried wipping data , cache etc... even formated a new sdcard and loaded a fresh ROM onto it and still can't get it to boot

I get error messages saying

E: can't open /cache/recovery log and last_log

I also get an erro saying "No app2sd partition found. skipping format of /sd-ext

Any ideas , I just want to get this thing going so I can get my Rezound back from her .

HELP PLEASE !!!

It was stuck on this screen for about 40 minutes then it said the rom was finished but when I reboot it gets stuck on the white HTC screen
 
you might try in addition to wipe data/factory reset to format boot and format system. then try flashing the rom again.

failing that,i would try running the .exe file for 2.11.605.9

and in the 4th post of the root/unroot sticky

assuming you rooted with revolutionary,your s-off will not be overwritten. if you rooted old skool,you may want to flash shadowmites permanent hboot before running the .exe file,as it will overwrite the original 1.04.2000 eng hboot.

Method 1 failed I downloaded the RUU but when I run it on my pc with my phone connected it doesn't work . Since I can't turn my phone on past recovery how should I have it connected to my computer ?
is there a zip version of the ruu that I can flash via hboot?
 
what happpens when you try and run it? it should work fine to start it in fastboot... so make sure youre starting it there,and not in hboot(select fastboot with the power button in the hboot screen).
-make sure battery is charged
-put phone into fastboot
-run .exe "as administrator" if possible.
-cross fingers ;)

if you want,you can run a PG05IMG,but ive seen bootlooping,apparent "bricks" work fine again after running the .exe,and its impossible to know if these successes would have worked the same after a PG05IMG flash. they should both be doing the same thing,but again,its not possible to know if the .exe files are doing something special to help the non booting phones.

there isnt a working PG05IMG mirror for 2.11.605.9 currently,but if youre s-off you can just try the one for 2.11.605.5,there is a working mirror for that :)

what was the last rom that was on the phone? was it a sense rom or AOSP?
 
Got it going thanks . It was a sense rom and she had been using it for months so I don't know what happened . Ohh well its fixed now . Thanks for the assistance
