Those are two ENTIRELY different things... Clockwork is a custom recovery for Android, not an os.
Gingerbread (Android 2.3.x) is the newest available to the prevail ATM. There are several different ROMs available for gingerbread tho...

I'm tired of the gingerbread/froyo interface. They're the same thing, only the notification area has changed.


I want a new GUI. I was referring to CWM because that is used to update the phone to a new gui right?

I'm not sure what is out there for ROMs for your device, but a simpler and safer way to change the user interface is with a custom launcher (ADW, Launcher Pro, etc.) I used ADW for a long time and it had some nice features.

I'm using spb shell 3d.its a real nice launcher.its the best one I ever had
