No really... im kinda a launcher fiend.. and i stumbled across this and had to share. Ive played with a few. Still cant settle.

BIG LAUNCHER LIST

Credit goes to Scur, for this beautiful list that is going to keep, atleast me busy for quite sometime.
Would like to hear about the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I used to use helauncher and helauncher2, but they were both buggy. I'd lose icons and widgets often and I can't handle that.

I'm currently using Go Launcher Ex, it's my favorite, followed by adw. Both are good, I just think Go has a better feel. It's themes seem more complete than adw's does also. Just watch for the docks on both. one disappears and the other seems to empty itself lol

I forgot to mention the king of the launchers: iida :) ignore what I said above, I'm using iida now
Find it and some awesome themes here

I don't know if I can or not, its not available in the market and it includes widgets which mkaes me also thinks it might be illegal though im not completely sure.. I also think its based off the unlocked version of launcher pro because it does inlcude widgets. The widgets are like htc sense. use google and the name of it is "lp sense ui"

edit: If it hasn't been removed from xda I think it's safe to post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1253752

Been using fullscreen today. Nice.. slow to load app drawer and go home. But other than that very nice

So i guess no one else uses custom launchers. But thx to the guys that have opinions. Anyways if you have the money to invest sbp shell 3d is totally worth every penny. I dont get any fcs anymore. All the animations are smooth as silk. Its nothing shortof amazing.

Well I've tried a bunch and keep going back to go launcher. It has the most features, for me, and as far as the others, unless i can get a launcher that can do exactly what go launcher does,in a lighter weight package, its pretty much the best. Lol, run on sentence ;)

Like some others in here, I like to plat around with the launchers as well and I cant settle on one iether, But this one I got from the market which I bought, and I think has a free version, Was the coolest that I have ever seen so far, But it don't have alot of choices like Go launcher EX does. Which makes it a bummer.. anyways if you all would like to look at it, then go to the market and look up.

spb shell 3D 1.5.3 https://market.android.com/details?...t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEwOSwiY29tLnNwYi5zaGVsbDNkIl0.

It costs a pretty penny, you may not want to spend this much, $14.95 but I can't help it I am a fool for good programming. lol I love to see what others have made, and it also gives me a chance to help support the programmers who do such good work.

anyways I liked it, you may too. at least look at it, the 3D part was cool.

Well for that much money, it better be good! I just tried ADW again, i got pissed that it doesn't have an import feature for your other home screens, it is a pain to setup whatever the main panel on the bottom is called. Grr, anyways, the fact that you can use icons from Other themes is pretty cool

TW 4.5
TW Launcher 4.5 - xda-developers
This is what I have been using.

ok I just loaded this one in and I am going to give it a go for a bit, I'll let you know what I think. But I must say that I have a hard time staying with one, cuz they all have one or two good things in them, and I wish I knew more so I could take the best thing that I like from one and put it in another. So far though I must say that I like this, its very nice. Very simple to use... Looks like it would be very stable...Thanks for putting this one up.. and please check the one that I put up in here, just look at it on the market, you may not buy it cuz of the price being sky high. but it is really cool. let me know what you think of that one if you decide to check it out, ok... and I am in no way trying to get you to buy it, I just like the way it looked and I got it. so it you don't like it....that will not hurt my feelings... lol like I said I just liked it.

Fully switched and testing adw. I found an app that works with adw to replace icons, liking it more and more:thumbup:

The thing i liked best about adw was that you didnt have to have the dock bar. You can use the home button binding to launch the app drawer. Fresh clean home screen :D Loved nit.

But i to have the full sbp shell 3d.. And its the first that wasnt minimalistic that i actually enjoy using. And its the first one that i have used and noticed it helped cut down on all the fc problems i was having.

For some reason sbp shell was making my warp fc way more.

I love go launcher butit did made my warp lag sometimes. So I bought it the adw launcher and since I bought it I gave it a real try. Yes it don't have all the features that go launcher have, but for my rooted warp it's perfect. I don't get any lag. I only use one screen because I'm not a really fan of widgets, here a screenshot of my home screen. The bottom bar can be slice. I have about 15 icons there.

Go launcher here. Ive tried a few others, but so far all have been lacking in the UI/theme dept, or were too hard on resources for what they accomplished.

I thought I had settled on Go Launcher; then I discovered Zeam. It's lightweight and does what I need. But what sold it for me over Go was a small thing: the tray scrolls smoothly instead of in groups.
