Need a favor

So I've been playing around with other framework apks and finally found a few that get me past huawei logo screen into the green cricket boot screen but it just loops. Making me think my issue may run deeper than i thought... I still wanna try to use the stock framework-res.apk first but just in case would you be willing to nandroid your whole system for me?

Hi i'm new to all this and i don't own the mercury yet but I'm thinkin about getting it, can you giv me details of this phone (everything from what comes in the box with the phone - your experience with the phone) i can't watch videos so please don't link me to any

Thank you for your time!!((:

Its only for replacing files in those various partitions. If I don't do that romdump described above, I'll factory reset and post full rom zips. Should be useable with cmw recovery for everyone.

Is this a flashable package or is it just the system files to overwrite your existing?

Ya that would be nice and greatly appreciated!

K folks here it is! Everything should be here to flash the merc back to mostly stock. This was made after i wiped some stock apps like the two games and some of those cricket apps. Probably best to unzip this on computer and transfer those files to root of sd card. should be cake from there. Hope this helps some folks.

Just wanted to clarify, Linux would be the easiest way to use these files, yes, but I'm sure they could be pushed using adb if a linux distro is not available to you. Of course, now you can just use that zip file and replacing individual files will be unnecessary

k. thanks. On the other file, my download speed was 2.5-18KB/S

damn that's a terrible wait! Would that come from the file type itself? Hopefully this one will download quicker. Other one wasn't bare stock so I'll probably just take it down since the full one is up.

Well, I was using Safari web browser. After I used IE web browser, the stock recovery zip downloaded at nearly 500KB/S

And btw, how do I use the file in Linux?

First off, if you are using my second post then linux isn't needed, you just unzip the main file, put it on your sd card, then restore with the "choose zip" option in cwm recovery. The linux thing referred to that first link i made, which was just a copy of some of the phone's main partitions, useful only if you are replacing specific files on the phone. For this I used ubuntu 11.10, opened nautilus with root access and traded out the files i messed up while having the merc in download mode (gives computer access to all the phone's files). Is there a particular issue you're trying to solve here?

How about putting this in it's own thread with step by step instructions, and maybe we can get it stickied?
