Help Opinions. replacement launcher, dialer, sms, and contacts.

okay looking for opinions on what people are using to replace the above listed apps. I'm not complaining about stock utilities. I'm just wondering what everyone thinks of the alternatives the out there in the market. Have ben using go launcher and some of the widgets but haven't replaced anything else yet.
 
The people who make the Regina 3d launcher have an awesome one I can't think of the name of ATM... I will preposterous when I remember.... started with a c.....

Claystone launcher. It has a built in browser and a few other goodies too.

70% of the forum GoDev junkies so any GoLauncher product will always be easiest to get support for.

I personally use crazyhome and kept stock mms and stuff.

I'm trying to remember the SMS app I used on my ascend so o ce againi will repost later.
 
Claystone is pretty good, but I'm partial to Launcher Pro Plus. It's a little older since the last update... but I live off it. Most basic options/folders//screens are adjustable. You can customize your icons/docks and even the dockbar. Its not as theme heavy as Go or ADW, but I find it perfect for my usage. Its fairly speedy

You sound like me (ugh at the realization of getting older). I used handscent SMS for awhile, but it had too many features for me. Then I used ChompSMS (just remembered this name as I was posting) and like that one better.

I use ADWex Launcher, as it seems to have the most customizable features that I require, plus I'm comfortable with it. After trying different launchers that people recommend, I always seem to come back to ol' reliable ADW . . . . . we fear change :D

HANDCENT! THATS THE ONE!

I'm installing it again. But since you can't delete the stock mms apk without bricking I will most likely delete it.

Same with dialers BTW.
 
Thanks for the note on brick if dialer and sms are removed. Once I had figured out which replacement I was going to stick with, I was planing in taking out the originals.

I use the free version of Go Launcher Ex for the themes and to custamise the all around look of the phone from the app drawer to the main menu it will let u change the app picture to what ever u like and fonts and go locker also free to change the lock screen and background picture on the lock screen it looks and feels like a new phone hope enjoy it as much as i do
