Whats the best place for boot animations? And could a thread house only boot animations for everyone to download?

How do I get rid of metro ive changed last animation but cant lose metro

On the subject of animations, I'd like to know about screen-off animations. Like the CRT screen off is one of the things I want most. Anyone know how I could go about working on something like that?

I tried to change my boot animation., and now I have none. Just black screen then it boots to home screen.

Did you install the files from my thread? You need the samsungloop file in place of the original..

I enabled the crt animation in my ROM but it still don't work. I haven't really looked into why it's not working.

Did you switch out the qmg? That's the only way to change out the Metro

Switch with what? It just says hello hello bs which I dnt know how to remove any ideas on both problems?

Switch it with another qmg.
Also you have to replace the poweron.wav in system/etc to take the Hello Hello out.

i did the steps on the thread on how to change boot animation, i cant get it to work, even worse, now i have no boot animation what so ever.

do i have to rename the zip to bootanimation.zip?

Yes....it needs named....bootanimation.zip place it in data/local I believe in you....you can do this.....make sure you have changed your permissions in system/bin on the samsungloop and bootanimation files ...they should be the same as your originals

I had it working the. I edit the samsung.loop file to change the 15 to 30 and now once agai. I have no boot animation. On the per mission should I have all read checked the first write checked and no check on execute

thanks it works now. I have the lcars boot theme and I have the sound file but its an mp3. I need the wave format.

has anybody here tried an app called absolute system tools???? it changes boot animations and fonts along with a few extra things. it works for the indulge. you just have to choose where the bootanimation goes ex. sys/media .... data/local. its a paid app. but by now you should know already where to get those.

ROM toolbox does the same n more. All around ROM toolbox is a better app
