Eris 2.1 leak Bug's and Fixes

Can someone please confirm the bug I mentioned earlier?

GMail will not show pictures. If you hit "show pictures" it just shows question marks where the images should be. This may relate to issues ofthedamned mentioned with urban spoon not working well when it tries to connect to the internet.

What's DEBUG and how do you get there?
 
For those of you having trouble with facebook syncing with people, acipollo figured something out and shared it with me. Clearing the cache (data?) on the facebook app and then logging back into the facebook app allowed him to sync. When he went back into the people app his contacts were synced.


Anyone want to try this and let us know how it goes?
 
non GV user and I am having the same issue with gmail login. Also I found it happens intermitently whether I reboot or not
 
Im getting pretty pissed over signal strength yesterday no matter where I was I had full bars most im getting now is two.. should i do a factory reset.. should i try reloading 2.1 I really wanna go back to 1.5 ... i Idk what to do
 
Dunno if this means anything, but none of my texts are sending the first time with Handcent. I have to tell them to try again, and they send.
 
Uninstalled GV and did not have to login to google upon reboot. I also can't view pics in gmail app, but if you just look at them in browser pics show fine. Youtube and sound working fine. Handcent is giving me some not sent messages, but I just retry and they send. Funny thing is that Handcent worked fine until I tried *228. Updated at 2pm EST today.
 
I have also noticed pics don't show up in gmail odd. You think we can get the one off the N1 or Desire to get it working?
 
By the looks of these errors, I'm glad I didn't put 2.1 on my phone. Patience is a virtue and I'm willing to wait longer for this update.

Yeah I was having the same issue, so I kept resending, and one of my friends finally got annoyed and yelled at me "You only have to hit send once!" haha... My messages WERE going thru, but Handcent kept saying they werent... I also couldn't send pic messages thru Handent..

SOOO for now, I switched to the stock messaging... We'll see if this gets fixed...

So far, I am loving 2.1. Runs a lot smoother and faster.

didnt do anything for me :/ i had it working at one point but i dont remember what happened. now my facebook isnt syncing at all :/

My Handcent keeps telling me "message failed to send." but everyone is getting my text's anyway. On and off, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Also, Facebook not syncing with people.

I'll just ignore it until they come up with an Eris fix.
 
I have had Android 2.1 for about 5 whole hours and love it!! There are a few small bugs in OS but nothing too serious. I am happy overall. Does this mean root is up next?
 
Just did a test and updated my sync for Facebook in people and all my pictures went away. Went into the Facebook app and scrolled through my friends and waited for the pictures to load. Closed Facebook and opened people to find that all the pics had returned.

I think you may have to be signed in for sync and the app to get it working.
