Root ZVT [an OTA update] LG Esteem.

ok. No Alarms.

ZVT was on the fota test servers.

It has been removed. noone else will be affected, incase there were other updates.

ZVT and ZVD are the same only thing that was changed was the SW title (ZVT).]

I'd hate to through another thread in the mix with updates but I'm going to anyway lol (since it might be important for themers/rom makers.

After update a few clients phones today, the phone updated to ZVD.

Then after it booted up. There was an OTA for another update..

..That updated the SW to ZVT.

I'm trying to find out what was changed in ZVT and I will update this thread as information comes.

Time to disable MobileCare
Don't need anymore delays today
This was blocked using Gemini App Manager for those who would like to do the same...just open the app-go into expert mode..filter by running..find the MobileCare...long press...and block

the way the letters look it maybe that 4.0 we all want

As much as we all really want it to be... i doubt it... probably zvd but with root blocked or some other change to keep us from messing with the phone.

As the OP also said its an OTA which is over the air which the update tool probably wont have. Alot of times OTAs are from the carrier

Its MobileUpdateClient.apk that has to do with OTAs not MobileCare
