Help Broke my screen... what is the fastest way to get it repaired?

Jeffery

Android Enthusiast
I was trying to take my Bionic out of an Otterbox case and ended up flinging my phone out of it onto tile. It landed face first and the screen cracked. The touchscreen still works though, so only the glass needs to be replaced.

I know I can purchase what I need to repair it myself, but I would rather pay to get it fixed by someone.

What is the fasted way to get my phone repaired? I previously sent a phone to Motorola for a cracked screen and it took 3 weeks, I don't have that much time.

Thank you in advance for any insight.

I don;t know ... sorry.

I assume it will be sent back to Motorola. If it was me, I would ask these questions at my local Verizon store. They should know the best course of action for your area.

There was no where to go in Naples, Total Cellulars not open any more and I called a few other numbers. I had it repaired at a place in Ft Myers - Rob the Phone Doctor.

My problem is that now I can see light around the bezel and there are dead pixels. I e-mailed the store today (msg below) b/c they were closed/didn't answer phone call. What should I do? I should have sent it to Motorola, but who would have known this would happen.

Rob,
You replaced the glass and digitizer yesterday on my Droid Bionic... There are a lot of yellow dots on the display and light comes out around the bezel. It is unacceptable, I don't know if you need to adjust/clean the screen or replace it. Let me know how you want to deal with this.
