Personally, the Flickr evidence we found leads me to believe the Incredible is gonna have a camera > 5MP camera. What do you guys think?

I agree, you can have an obscenely large resolution image but it's only as good as the actual details its able to pickup. I've seen lots of 6MP pictures that, even when downsized to 800x600, look really blurry. That's no good.Personally, I would be fine with a GOOD 3 MP camera. I find the megapixel arms race tiring, especially when there has only been marginal at best improvement in camera phone quality over the last few years.
I'm a big specs guy, but sometimes they just don't matter.

There's really no doubt that I am getting the Incredible but since we are talking about picture quality I have to say that the pictures Sony posted are the most impressive pictures I've ever seen come out of a mobile phone: Xperia X10 Sample Pictures and Sample Video Product Launch Blog
Look at those, people, just hauntingly, disgustingly awesome images that by rights should not come out of a cell phone.
I hope they do too but I'm guessing Sony Ericsson is using a lot of their image processing wisdom to churn that kind of quality out. Probably using their own optics too... unfortunately. Now those are some damn nice pics.....so when does the X10 come to Verizon?
Note, the X10 comes with an 8.1 megapixel camera.....here's hoping those are standard parts used for high end android phones. Translation: I hope those parts get put in the Incredible.
PERFECTLY put. I feel people put too much emphasis on the megapixel of the camera.I agree, you can have an obscenely large resolution image but it's only as good as the actual details its able to pickup.
