calender synch problem from phone to Gmail

here is my problem. When I add something to my calender on the droid it is saved to the phone but it does not sync with my on-line calender.

If I add an item to my on-line calender it syncs fine with the phone.

I know there must be a way to set this to sync both ways .......... can anyone help me out here?

What do you mean by "on-line calendar"? Is this Outlook on a PC?

Which calendar are you adding the event to? There is a calendar on the phone called "Phone calendar" that does not sync with Google. When you add an event on the phone there is a drop down in the event entry screen - at the very top - that asks which calendar to use. Change that to the Google calendar that you sync with.

You can also go into menu->settings->manage calendars to make the phone calendar not visible, so you cannot choose it when you create an event.

it works now..... thanks. I just had to un-check phone calendar. as always, thanks for the help
