Defective phone?

Okay, recently my phone got stolen...and i just went to buy a new one today
So, as i finished the process of getting a new LG esteem
I figured 2 or mainly 3 things
1. There wasn't no Swype keyboard?
2. The notification lights (green, blue, red) doesn't come on when i get a notification, or when i charge it
3. When i rebooted it, it got in a boot loop of at least 2 or 3 times...
Should i use my warranty and consider this phone faulty?
Please help me out fellow LG esteemers

Edit: Updated it using LG tool program
1. Lights are still not working...and its something im used to
2. Boot sound not working before, during, and after update to Zvd

Sounds like the phone you bought has been or still is rooted. Buying a phone this expensive would dictate that every feature is available to you. My humble option: take it back.

Thanks, but damn..i just factory reseted it...and now i can't go into the phone
oh, and its on clockwork mod....can i still return it?

Nvm, fixed it...but still, lights dont work, and no swype keyboard
And, still on cwm

If you want to return it use this to unroot the phone:

You can easily verify that root has been removed by downloading Titanium Backup from here:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup to your phone and opening it(will only work on rooted phones).

Just remember to backup all your contacts to your external SD card so you do not lose any of them
