I am on the new FAA19 update by hrork. I have a question does CT3.3 have a form of a2sd integrated or if I have to use dt_a2sd how??? I have tried flashing and re-flashing over and over with out any success... Help Please???
Any help would be much appreciated, and if this is a problem thats been solved than please post a link or something...

Thank you all for your excelled knowledge, intelligent guidance, and more importantly your straight forwardness. Because that's how I am. If I am doing something wrong You tell it how it is and most likely its my own fault for not paying enough attention.:D:D

CTMod 3.3 uses Kouma's Kernel 2.1 wich it has a2sd integrated, plus a "Super Scret Mod".
If you don't have your sd-card partitioned, you'll be
"flashing and re-flashing over and over with out any success..."
go to Kouma's thread for more info on how to.

[Kernel][GB] KoumaKernel 2.2 + Overclock Test

Yeah I had thought so as well... but I have partitioned several times, idk what to do now.

The standard install of koumakernel 2.1 (included w/ ctmod) mounts the SD-ext partition as /data/app. (AKA the supersecretmod) This will not show up as internal memory, but when you install apps, most of it will go to the invisible memory, and decrease your total installed size. If you go to (settings, applications, manage applications), and add up the size of the installed apps, its much more than whats listed under internal memory. If you make the secondary swap partition, the dalvik cache goes on there.

If you go into the koumamod file and change over to /data via the instructions, it will mount the entire /data file on the SD-ext and will show up as internal memory but its not as fast

Thank you sooo much I wouldent have realized this simple effect. One more thing every time I try to delete the # sign It tells me it failed??? any thing I did wrong?

have you try with another sd-card???

what's the steps you do to partition your card?

Okaaay... I boot into CWM, wipe factory data reset, partition 1098mb to swap 0mb, mount sys THEN data, install zip kk2.1, than format sd ext. I have formated before the install no change.
PS. file es did the trick on the file change saved, but still no change on the internal storage.

You guys are awesome, thank you all for the help... even if it doesn't work for me, but this is the only ROM that I have had trouble with. wtf??? lol

ok, you're doing lots of stuff just to format,

1 why you're installing KK2.1... no need, it's already in CTM3.3

2 no need for factory wipe

3 no need to mount sys and data.

Edit: Lordvincent 90 took my question, are you any good with adb?

Done haha THANK YOU ALL!!!!! it was the file explorer I was using. rebooted after change in es file explorer and done!!! all is wonderful, thank you all for the hard work please keep it up!!!

Command prompt, you just need adb.exe
Then you cd to the folder containing adb. Then type adb for a list of available commands and their usage

Kinda hard to explain via thread

uhh sorry to be a noob but 1st I just added a thread for ctmod that starts with happy birthday me... could you possibly look through real quick and let me know if anythings amiss? 2nd cd TO the folder? could you put that in laymen?? lol ooh one other thing I have sdk (of course) but I didn't want to install everything so I just did the 2.3 and the sdk tools.... should I have gone ahead and dl them all? because I try to run ADB.exe and It just goes through this short log and then shuts down... idk whats up?? I am going to Devry institute for this stuff and want to get a head start... ADB is where I can FULLY customize anything... right?

<for me adb is on c drive. So, i open command prompt, and cd (change directories) to c drive
Code:
 cd c:\
Or if on the desktop
Code:
cd c:\users\"your user name"\desktop

Yes And no. Adb can push/pull/change/add/remove files, etc. but to decompile/edit apks you need apktools

For future reference, the stock file explorer in CTmod 3.3 will work with the koumamod file.

First, go to settings and turn on root explorer, then browse to internal/system, hit menu, more button, mount R/W.

Then open koumamod, select "text", click "file explorer" if it asks what to open as. Change the file as needed and hit back button when done.

That way, you can change over without having to install anything first.

funny my aunt's Huawei I just got permission to root sounds like fun... I wonder what CWM they might have... :D

They are pretty easy! Even with boot loaders and Android SDK the majority of phones have a very short learning curve. Plus androidforums has sections for just about all of them
