Help Replacing Metro Web?

Can anybody tell me how to put the default browser from 2.3.6 to 2.3.4 over writing the Metro Web?

Find the app
Use a file explorer (root explorer) to place it in system/app and delete the metro web app.

Tried, and then i recieve a error message "Cannot be installed"

Here is what I did. I installed Dolphin, Then I froze the Metro web app, Everything work fine, so then I unfroze and removed via Titanium back up. Did the same thing with the launcher.

I used Titanium Back Up after I installed Dolphin to remove the Metro Web App. After a backup of the MetroWeb I removed it, phone shut off and restarted. Once back into the home screen, MetroWeb was gone. Whew!

Thanks to the Dev. who made TBU. I hate bloatware, now just have to figure out what is taking up 177 mb of internal memory since I removed most of the Metro apps.

I removed all my metro apps, Total protection and my metro both would give me fits and cause a reboot loop. So I was forced to do a reset.

As I did, I wiped the cache and format the partition data stuff and the phone started up as normal.

Now when I went to look at the apps.. To my surprise, Google Books, Street View, Maps, Loop, VCard and a few others were gone and not installed.

I had to download a new file manager app and a web browser but that was fine with me.

Now when I look at the space, it states 88MB of internal space available. And only 109MB used. It's that way because I downloaded some other apps off the market I wanted so I'm good now.

Now I haven't rooted my phone after the reset but SU and Rootexplorer are working fine.

So thanks to TBU my phone is running quicker with internal space freed up.
