I cast a charm spell on the coins.
Charm Item(s) - temporarily adds a charm to an item(s) lasting for 2 hours. The charm can have various effects.
@Yeahha let me know if that needs changed and I can edit this post with the change (and possibly change how I do things with it).

This one I use 5 charges (to make it strong! :p) to increase a persons belief in what I say about it.

I then cast Blur (Illusion) on the coins and Hide magic to hide the effects of the charm spell.
Should require just one charge of each...:)
 
@anti you can find the same place where you didn't use the rifling equipment...

@AC13 & karan if this post is a 4 or higher there is another place to exchange gold in town ;)
 
I will go back to the first place and leave T'res behind. I cast Disguise self on myself as well so he won't recognize me from earlier.
 
Cant do that since the weight was same ...
or we can wait for all the gold to turn back to the drops combine them and use the liquid to make a gold bar ...

remember all the neato spells I put on this stuff including blur which makes people not notice details without realizing they don't notice it....:D

Also remember this is a place full of refugees with lots of cash, seeing gold at a jewelry store shouldn't raise flags. I assume this place has quite the large population now and this is the only jewelry store...
 
I think T'res just messed with the 1 coughdrop you guys have now

"Well it looks great quality, just got to check one thing...had a guy try to rip me off earlier" He waves his hand over the coin casting a dispell magic spell...you watch as the coin slowly becomes a cough drop again

"Don't bring these fakes by into my shop or I will call the police"

I still find it a bit odd that a place this size that is made for the tourists only has one shop that will exchange gold....:eek:

Why would there be, gold is an obscure form of currency now, everything is handled in GC which are credits and not based on a gold standard
