Help google maps location temporarily unavailable

When ever I try to use the feature "My location" in google maps, everytime, no matter when or where I am I always get the error "location temporarily unavailable"

Is there a setting I'm missing? Please help!

The first question I would ask is ...

Is your GPS turned on ?

If yes then someone else will have to answer.

same for me yesterday but haven't trid today...

weird is that other gps software got gps lock but google maps was stuck wth cell tower location, no gps

Market offers my 3.1.1 but atrackdog tells me there is a 3.2 available...
