hey all....

please help me out with this....actually i got a little bored with the entire UI of my galaxy y as provided by the company. i want to instal a customized ROM on my device by flashing it, so please help me with this.

Which is the best customized ROM, for Galaxy Y GT-S5360, and how to install it....please guide me through the entire process so that i don't turn up my phone into a "brick"

Creed rom v2.0 is best for me.
for downloading and installing procedure visit Samsung Galaxy Y gaming and search there creed rom note-download creed rom v2.0 or 2.5 but dont download v 2.1 coz it has bugs.for me creed 2.0 is better than 2.5

Is there any functionality difference between the provided by Samsung, and the one which u have told here, will all things work in the same way.
Also please tell me how to backup the current ROM, and its all settings!! :)

creed rom include all major features of android 4.0 ...as officially and unofficially android 4.0 is not available for galaxy y so to just take a taste of android 4.0 ,creed rom is best but note that it is also not based on android 4.0 but it gives you its taste.
now to backup your current rom download skin1980 for galaxy y and search for it on google you will be able to know how to backup and restore current rom.

You cant update your firmware when you are on a custom ROM. You'll have to flash back to Stock ROM or restore your Stock ROMs Nandroid Backup.
