Actually I found that just leaving it alone for a while and letting it auto update a few things, it started working automatically. It might show up with superuser being updated or some other app. After that try installing an app.
 
Oh and sorry for the double post, but couldn't you put the force close loop adb command into the updater script or does it have to be run while the phone is booted?
 
This whole project looks great. Thanks for the work you put in to it.
 
After installing a rom I personally think after you sign in to Google and hook wifi in you should not touch the phone another 5 minutes atleast to let everything update and settle in..
 
I wiped everything including /system before I installed the kernel, rebooted recovery, installed the Alpha 4. It seems to get a few seconds into loading the rom, I see the technicolor bootanimation, but it gets to about the second repetition after the first slow one and then appears it's doing a quick-reboot because the first-off slower loading of the bootanimation happens.

I'm guessing the ROM has an assert script that checks build.prop to make sure it's the right system it's loading into? I'm trying to ODIN back to 5027, recover my Beast, and then flash kernel/rom to see if it helps, any other direction would be great. Thank you for your work, I'm excited as anyone here to see CM on this device.

*Note: I'm a cricket user, if that may make a difference. Far as I can tell it's the same hardware though since the metropcs Admiral ROMs work alright on this hardware.

When you install alpha four, you have to have alpha one installed first before it will boot to four.
 
The next thing on the todo list would be to get data working along with camera right? I am uncertain as to if there currently is a fix right now in some other thread.

Thanks again to the developer porting the ROM. Development has come a long way and I appreciate the work. I extend my gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the admire, and the supporters. There are a lot of us who want to help but just don't possess the required skills. Thanks again.

Hey guys i flashed this rom ran into a few errors after flashing back to Monster cache not mounting but i fixed it if anyone run into that same error ill explain how to fix it but you will need a back up of your Stock,Monster or Beast rom....more importantly CM7 is fast and smooth i didnt run into in any issues while flashing it other than the bootloop which i fixed with adb shell command....as everyone else stated wifi works but the camera and data do not work also metro pcs is my carrier...OH! one last thing when i did get cm7 up and running i couldnt sign into my google account nor was their a google play app present idk what i did wrong but till this hits beta i won't be flashing again :( anyway good work so far guys i love it!!! keep up the good work!!! :D
 
Question. Why does cm always boot in airplane mode? Also during a call I received another call but it didn't allow me to switch over x.x ill test it again but just thought I should point it out

i also flashed gapps after flashing cm7 and still no google play or account sign in

I posted a long time ago that hopefully airplane mode wont be turned on by default when he fixes data when he gets data working.
 
LOL, try reflashing. Here's what I did : Flash Alpha 1, boot, flash Alpha 2, boot, Flash Alpha 3, boot, Flash Alpha 4
