Has anyone been able to tether with this ROM using "wireless tether for root users" (either the older builds or the newer beta)? I switched from tg reloaded now my nook color and HP touchpad keep trying to "obtain IP address" but never connect
If not, oh well...still a phat rom!

Easy tether from Google play works better for tethering

Anyone else having battery issues with this release? I can charge my phone all night, and without using any apps or wifi or BT, the battery is down to 50% in only a few hours. Miui and cm7 seem to be better on battery life... even with overclocking enabled. Thanks guys.

Yeah Gingerbread overall has better battery that's why im working on getting us GB 2.3.4 - but i could use more help

love the 2.0 i have only 1 issue launcher force closes is there a fix or should i just download another launcher like go launcher or adw.

ok im on stock-rom "deoxeded" followed flashing instructions for this froyocream and all it does is keep rebooting into CM Recovery any idea why? Please help

You have to wipe data then flash do not use b_randon's prep rom or instructions

Try redownloading the Rom and the updater script formats the system for you so all you should have to do is wipe data if that doesn't work wipe cache and dalvik cache aswell then flash

Yes I'm having the same battery drain issues but I love the rom so much I'm ignoring that!

hey guys, completely new here so first off, thanks a lot for all the work on this ROM. i tried CM7-TG and it was a little buggy, so I'm giving this a shot and so far it's great.

is there any way to get a toggle for the lockscreen on this?

Go to "system/customize/widget.txt" and edit the text and replace for one of the widgets. Always use 6, more or less will bootloop your device.

Here are your other options:

toggleBrightness
toggleFlashlight
toggleGPS
toggleLockScreen
toggleMobileData
toggleScreenTimeout
toggleSleepMode
toggleSound
toggleSync
toggleWifi

PS: Flashlight doesn't work yet as a toggle.

using the ES file explorer, just says can't be saved

ok heres a quick fix i through together for ya'

download this Control Changer to your computer...

Then open up the zip and edit the widget.txt inside the "edit_file_in_here" folder

close it, put on your phones sdcard, and flash. then it should be changed for you... Cheers!

so unzip the folder or leave it zipped after d/ling? put the entire folder on SD card? install through CWM?
