As the title says really
Currently on 4.0.2 yakju

I only got my handset a few weeks ago so are the imei updated in order ?

Didn't want to wait and downloaded 4.0.4 IMM76D build from Google servers. YOu don't need to be rooted but you do need an unlocked bootloader and the Android SDK tools from Google, together with the adb drivers in order to flash the images. Flashing is really easy. The hardest part is getting the drivers to work in Windows with your GNex. It's worth the effort imho :D - 4.0.4 dows not provide any major add-ons/changes that are instantly recognisable, but by golly it's so much more fluid and smooth.

Hmm done it like 10 times, nothing.

It changes message to "last checked: 12/31/1969" butvthen i hit update and it changes to current time and says im up to date. Tried with restarts and without

Mine said 1970 and as soon i hit update, update notification showed up.

are you Yakju build?

yeah i flashed it to yakuj awhile ago and got 4.0.2 right after

Did yours work first try?

Mine Yakju build from factory, unlocked with o2 sim card, it worked for me from second time.
It did work for some people by swapping sim cards over to different network cards, or just removing and inserting sim card.

Yeah been reading

I did a clear, turn off, pull sim + battery then restart still nothing

Oh well, should come soon

Got it at 4:45 est today

I forced it using the clear data as outlined in the xda link above

Took several (probably 15) trys.

Bell

Only did battery/sim pull once

Then it didn't work that time, I then cleared data. DIDNT reset and it worked

Goodluck

Every time i clear the Google services framework data i get a box pop up saying "Unfortunately, Maps has stopped." ... Does anybody else get this?

As long as its more stable, better battery type changes I'll be happy.

Also apparently cameras better but I rarely use mine so probably won't notice a lot

All in all I'll give it a few days before I make any comments.
