I think it works differently for the Triumph.

changing your prl number to get higher priority on the sprint towers.

I have changed my prl but all r slow....maybe its just a Wisconsin slow service thing.......

i got an error when i did it soooo i wouldnt recomend doing this, but ,my phone still booted and seems fine

i try it but 3g is gone when i apply simple only. so i reverted back all ok now

the crazy thing when i run speed test on my phone at my house i get about 40kbps down and 40kbps up luckily i have wifi lol so don't really use 3g at home. but thats really not the crazy thing the crazy thing when i cross my street i go from 40kbps to 600-800kbps down and 600-800kbps up i even hit 1mb one time on upload. and im about 20 feet away from my house when i cross the street. so the 3g speed is fast just not everywhere which in my case 20 feet can be the difference.

Edit: i have gotten my fastest 3g speed on virgin mobile my download was close to 1.4mb and my upload was around 1mb

People who normally get these speeds must be in heaven with their $25/$35 phone bill. Sadly not a lot of us

There is a tower near my job and I get OK speeds. By my house, its like 4.5m from there, 3G is horrible. Long Island has lots of spotty sections at least by me.

I swapped PRLs and I usually got around 130 down (I live near some mountains) and after trying out a few different PRLs, I finally found one that got me up to around 730. At my work I get around 2-2.5 down.
