So i followed the guide for the wildfire s, after much strugglemanaged to get to the final step, using HTC supertool it said my phone was rooted succesfully. however, when i use the emulator, it says my phone is not rooted. also superuser and all other apps requiring a root say my phone is not rooted. what is going on? thanks for any help

Couple of people had an issue but seemed to have found an answer. Otherwise if you search XDA developers, there will be a thread where you can download a wildfire s manager. It has helped some people with rooting problems too.

I should have mentioned though I managed to find a solution. For anyone wondering, search on youtube how to install clockwork on the wildfire s. Follow all the steps and it will root your phone perfectly
