Ics 4.0 on xperia s

Hi guys,
is it confirmed that ICS coming to Xperia S in Q2 which means anytime from April - June barring any unforeseen circumstances? Cheers mate!

i spoke to a sony rep who happened to be in a phone shop when i was in for something else and he said april although i remember the 2.1 fiasco with my x10, so you can take that with a pinch of salt

its really hard to find any info on this, i can see us waiting till June, usually when they are nearing done they would give you a specific month

I must confess that I'm a little disappointed that Sony is rolling out ICS for older Xperia devices before the flagship S. Very happy for owners of the Arc S, Neo and so on, but would really have expected owners of the top model to have been given the love first!

Yep your probably right, tbh i'm realy happy with gb 2.3.7 on my sxs, but sony needs to bring out the .73 update in the uk to address the battery. If they do this then I'm quite happy with waiting for ics after all we want a good stable ics rom don't we

My battery life is pretty good.
Averages 14-16 hours depending on usage. But I'm a pretty heavy user.

I think you are right. I was told by a service agent this morning that he expects that the update will be in "late Q2".
