Tap and hold apps to drag them to the trash can on the home screen to remove them.

System apps do not uninstall from stock.

The Google Play market is the place for free apps.

Hope this helps...

First, welcome to the forum!

Second? I'm moving this to the appropriate section.

The best place to find free apps is in Google Play. You can also check out Amazon and Getjar. If you're asking where to find paid apps for free? We don't allow talk about that here.

Remove icons from the home screens by long pressing them till the trash can appears then drag them into the trash. Apps that won't install are system apps. The only way to uninstall these apps is to root or get root access to your device.

I'll have leave the tip guy(?) for someone else to explain, as I can't help there.

no im not looking for pay apps for free, never was my intention

Tips are just an app - drag to the trashcan. Apps that you can't remove? You have to be rooted to remove most of those. (Some really can't be removed - the phone will stop working if you do). Look in this forum, at the top (Precedent - All Things Root) for posts on how to root the phone.

Get the Amazon Free App of the Day app (there are two of them that I know of - I use Amazon.com: Free App Notifier for Amazon Appstore: Appstore for Android it's free) and you'll be notified of a paid app for free - legally - every day.

Between Android Play (what used to be called the Market) and Amazon, you'll probably find 99.9% of all Android apps.

I would like to know how to get or have more storage for my Samsung Galaxy Precedent, I have a SDcard?
Try AreaROM 2.3.7. I have my SD card partitioned to a 2GB partition, and with tons of junk installed I still have over 1.5GB of "internal" memory left. (CM7 will work with a 1GB partition, but seems to choke on 2GB.)
