***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

In Verizon's defense, it looks like they are doing something right:

Verizon Speeds up 4G LTE

"The company expects to commercially launch its 4G LTE services in 2010 across 25 to 30 markets (covering 100 million people) with plans in place to provide nationwide coverage by 2013. This will make Verizon the first operator to offer commercial LTE services in the US as AT&T lags with its 4G LTE service launch planned in 2011."

Its going to be a tshirt. On the front it will say:
"I followed every rumor, emailed every company, hope for every date and all I got was this stupid Erid"

14 days folks, 14 days till there should be some solid info at least.

They do plenty right, its not like they said a new phone would launch and didn't launch one. Besides they've always been more about their network then their phones.
But hey now they have the RedZone channel from the NFL. Sweet!

Can you just imagine how this thread would literally "blow up" should we hear definite word of the Incredible's release or come across photo images of the real McCoy? There'd be new pages full of posts appearing every five minutes. Heck, look how the thread blew up when Incredible video was first released or when Sarab.Singh posted pic's taken from the phone on his Twitter page and then started posting here?

This place literally erupts with any evidential news regarding the existence or sightings of the Incredible. Sadly, we haven't had much "real" news to discuss here for at least a week now. Most of what we're getting are comments and e-mail responses forum members receive from inquiries made to Verizon and HTC customer service or sales reps, which most acknowledge aren't reliable sources and don't necessarily know much more about new devices being released than we do. Unfortunately with no real news available to disseminate and discuss comes wild speculation which brings a lot of "noise" into the thread, as opinions range all over the place. And I'm just as much to blame as anyone.

All I know is that it's going to be a long, hard wait if we get no solid news to discuss here between now and CTIA. PLEASE somebody get us something. Mug Sarab Singh on the streets if you have to and steal his Incredible. :D

I'm not speaking for anyone else, but I think people like to get on and talk, it keeps them excited. If no one posted anything from the last time we had news, then this would be empty and not nearly as fun. CTIA isn't too far so even if we have to wait until then it won't be so bad.

But yeah once there is some new news this thread is going to erupt. An official release or final pictures is gonna shut it down lol

I've always thought the Incredible would be Verizon's version of the Nexus One/Desire and now that's looking more and more likely.

Anybody see this yet? I think we said this a while ago, based on the similarities between the eris and incredible stock numbers. Could this really be an eris replacement? Is it far fetched to think that the incredible will be the flagship or is there something else that will take that thrown? Also, is the eris stock number a VZW number or an HTC number...VZW could very well given the incredible a number similar to the eris because its the second htc android phone...not necessarily because its the eris mid-range replacement. what do you guys think?

lol look up 9 posts, I think it will replace the Eris, but only as the next HTC phone on VZW, if it VZWs version of the N1 it won't be mid-tier

Hah, yeah I know, no worries. I am a little confused how it is supposed to be the Eris replacement AND be the VZW version of the N1? So, it wont be a mid-range priced phone?

It is what I quoted above, and Kappy's link cites it.

But either way its good, from their "trusted source" says Incredible = VZW N1, which sounds good for our "up in the air" specs

^^^ I'm not setting myself up to be disappointed for anything :cool: It's gonna launch whenever, I'm not any of the people on here needing blood pressure meds (no offense guys lol) over a phone lol I can wait.
 
You guys move too fast, I can't keep up. But i thought it was really great how they said the Incredible is the Nexus one on VZW...and the N1 will be sold only be google, which is what I've been thinking this whole time. Maybe this google training session Kappy originally brought up is actually for the Incredible.
