Hhmmm, this happened to me before, try uninstalling and installing the apkmultitools from scratch
Also, read option 27, it changes the decompiling mode, there should be two at the top, sources and resources.

Update OP, you can't move the clock around using this tutorial![]()
aww you confirmed this?
yes, but if you follow the guide you can center it, like i mentioned, i dont like it because even though the mod is supposed to fix the overlapping once is centered it doesnt, it still overlaps. you can center the date on the pull down bar too btw.

damn i really wanna play around with this. I changed the decompile mode to resources - error right away, sources and resources - error right away, sources - took about 2 minutes then error![]()
, i really dont know what to tell you man, i have no idea why you having errors. i may sound redundant but, are you deleting the projects before trying everything again? are you picking the right file for the projects, etc?dammit, i really dont know what to tell you man, i have no idea why you having errors. i may sound redundant but, are you deleting the projects before trying everything again? are you picking the right file for the projects, etc?
Yea, just to make surewait delete EVERYTHING in projects folder before i try again?
Yea, just to make sure

tried it, still got the error when trying to compile it![]()

Ugh this is frustrating
I suggest you to check the FAQs on apkmultitool site
i checked, nothing like the problem im getting. maybe i downloaded the wrong one?
![]()
thats the right one right??
yea, thats the one i use..............mmmmm, i wonder what's going on. try this, upload your framework-res.apk and your systemui.apk to UOT kitchen and change something, like the font or something, cook it and flash it to your phone, then pull that framework you just flashed and try decompiling and compiling that one.

ok so this again...

atleast i got a cool font![]()
What can you read from the log that makes sense? Like something not found or cant be located, etc? Screen shot the log

i notice alot of things "not found" idk how to fix it. I also dont know how to make the images hide so you click "show" to make them show up
, you need to delete anything thats inside 'place apk here for modding' and 'projects', second there should be nothing inside 'place apk here for signing', or 'place apk here to batch optimize'. third, i can see on one of you logs an 'unsignedframework-res.apk' which means you got to compile framework-res.apk successfully at one point. forth, i need you to make sure when you extract apktmultitools that you extract EVERYTHING to one folder that way everything is where it needs to be and there is nothing missing when compiling and decompiling. best thing to do at this point, uninstall apkmultitools, delete all folders related to the program (all of them), and start from scratch
i will try that now , thanks
edit: i went under uninstall a program on my laptop and i dont see apkmultitool there so how do i uninstall it?
edit2: also when i start apkmultitool it says "adb not found, you will not be able to manipulate the files on your phone. press any key to continue.."
If go to Start there should be an apkmultitools folder in there and in it an uninstall.
That adb not found i get too, shouldn't have anything to do with decom and com framework.
ok so i clicked the uninstall.exe and it didnt really do anything, all the folders were still there so i went to the website and downloaded it again (assuming it would overwrite itself) the new install went alot better and when i opened the script it looked different (there was a picture of an android character instead of saying adb not found) and i put the framework apk in the folder apk for modding and went into script and hit 25 to set project, then 1 , then 9 to decompile. after decompile i hit 11 to compile and got the error again. When i look at the error log i see a lot of java things saying not found. If you know any programs to record my screen i would start from step one recording and go till i get the error so maybe you can tell me if theres something im not doing right?

Is your java up to date? Why didnt you delete all the folders after uninstalling?
i did delete everything after "uninstalling" i reinstalled it and everything came back. and about the java thing, i wasnt sure so i just downloaded the most up to date version
