Help Phone resets with volume buttons.

Almost every time I turn up the volume all the way, and occasionally not even, the phone just restarts, flashing the MetroPCS logo, and it takes like 2 minutes to boot back up. This is an extremely frustrating glitch, and it didn't do this before I started updating my phone. It seems there's something going on with the volume buttons, and whatever it is that resets the phone. Is there anyone else having this problem, or are there any tech wiz's who have an idea as to what this might be or what might be causing this?

May be a software bug that you encountered... rooted? CWM? what ROM if so?
 
I've just been doing standard updates through the LG Update Utility. Haven't made any alterations yet. Any recommendations?
