I don't get your point? NKT is no SpewsRadiation-o. His info/history seems pretty legit to me. It looks like all good news to me.

No candy-ass red is awesome!

kind of a typical damned if you do, damned if you don't. some people got mad because he didn't cite his source. of course, this thread is also filled with links to sites reporting stories from "sources" which we have no idea whether or not they're legit - but those are more acceptable, apparently. I appreciated his info - and took it for what it is worth.

My perfect phone

Form: Similar to the Nexus One. Not the same but similar style. Volume bar on the left. Headphone jack on top left. Hold/Power button on top right. Dedicated 2 stage camera key. High quality stereo speakers
Processor: Whatever is currently the fastest processor. It also better have great audio quality during music playback, better than iPod. I heard creative zen, Sony walkman and othere non apple MP3 players have great quality. So something like that
Screen: 3.7 to 4.3 inches Super OLED
Camera:5 megapixels or up. Amazing lense. Amazing censor. Amazing camera software. 720p 60/30fps.Xenon Flash. Two microphones on the side of the phone for 5.1 surrond sound capture.
Connections: Micro USB 3.0, HDMI all on the bottom
Wireless: 4G 3G compatible, Bluetooth 3.0, Wifi n
Softwar: Android 2.1+
Service Provider: Verizon

I would also like this phone to be a flagship phone that will get supported for a long period of time. This is the only reason why I like the iPhone. Sorry for being off topic but id be set for years

Does any one else get annoyed when they see a Droid commercial???

i need a phone by the end of this month, and nexus one is looking very tasty..after seeing the back to the supersonic, im just feel like the incredible is half assed.

I love this thread. Y'all crack me up. It's making the time go by faster. And to all the "Cite your sources" and "Don't post unless it's new info" police, lighten up. We're just having fun and if you really don't like it, don't egg 'em on. I'm sure they will do just fine without you.

So this thread has become a stage for people to spit out rumors. My thought is that it will continue unless the topic is changed. So I am going to take a stab in the dark and try to get a on topic but unrelated conversation going. Im sure it will only last for so long.

Most would argue the reason that they want the Incredible over the Nexus One is that the incredible comes with Sense UI and an optic mouse. Although this is not going to be everyones argument. At least it seems to be the general theme.

Now on the other hand you have the select few that would argue why not get the Droid and overclock it. Being that the Droid is not running the Snapdragon and has a dedicated GPU it does not pose a bad argument. Im guessing though most will argue the dedicated keyboard is not a +. Others might also point out that the screen is LCD over the AMOLED that the Nexus One and the Incredible have.

So whats everyone really pulling for? What makes this Incredible the cats meow for you?

My standings are that its on Verizon for one. It is a big touch screen with no keyboard. The kicker for me though is that I can underclock this thing to about 800Mhz and still get a great Android phone that gets good battery life.

Half assed in what way? everything we've seen so far about the Incredible hasn't been final hardware and it's already been stated that the back of the Incredible is no longer RED it's BLACK and the red accents are gone too if we are to believe what's been said today.

Almost wish no pics of the Incredible were leaked because everyone's been assuming that's how it's going to look when it's released. The pics we've seen have been from a pre production,non-finalized development phone.

Damn! You're gonna need a 5000mAh battery to run that thing! :p

Probably not the best source of info, but Noah from Phonedog (I'm sure everyone knows him and has seen who he is and what he does) responded to a question of if there will be any new Verizon Android phones coming out in the next few months..
@Bstyle0516 i think you'll hear some things in two weeks at ctia. i think you'll hear the word "Incredible" about 12 hours ago via TweetDeck in reply to Bstyle0516
Take it for what its worth.. no guarantee but just another speculation from a well-known figure. Atleast now you guys have a scapegoat to attack if our CTIA dream doesn't come true:p

Morning, I'm a lurker moving out of the shadows.

I've been waiting for a new phone on Verizon, going back to last fall. I waited for the Storm2, moved on to the Droid, Eris, Passion/Bravo, now Incredible. Along the way, I've discovered that what I really want is a large screen HTC android that runs sense.

My wait was made a bit easier for me last month when my cell phone died and I got the eris. It will tide me over until this thing comes out.

I am thinking to myself that you might be made of money. Being that you just got the Eris and your contract will not be up at the release of Incredible. Of course the other side of it is that you will be outside of your 30 day window. So you will not be able to take the phone back. So what gives? You going to the give that phone to someone else on Verizon? Maybe someone on your share plan? So sorry if this seems like an attack. I am just lost at the motive.

What i realized is that this thread is 90 pages of pure speculation. No one knows exactly when the phone will be released. April 1st, speculation. I wish people wouldn't post unless it's fact.

My NE2 was up last summer, when I started looking and researching. I wish my old cell had continued on and I could have waited. I don't like to waste money. It would have been great (for all of us) if the Incredible came out in time to return my eris, but I doubt that will happen. My motive you asked about, was that I needed a phone and I got the best choice for me. Plain and simple.

That said, I'm not one of the 20-somethings here. I'm past the stage of counting my pennies, living paycheck to paycheck, and worrying about paying the rent and utilities. No worries.

Didn't we all say that was a big possability pages ago? Everyone (myself included) got all hyped up on the design/color. Now we have news it could be different! See everyone just wait until launch, it could be changed yet again lol :D

Exactly. Just like the March Madness Advertisement, the March 7th date, the March 23rd Date, now we are at April 1st, then it will be Easter, then Tax Day, then Memorial Day...

In that case the existence of the HTC Incredible forum is invalidated. HTC could always decide never to sell this phone so everything that has been posted in this forum is based on rumor.

Does anyone think the phone will have the ability to cook food for you? Maybe like an app or something? You sit a hamburger or hot dog on the screen and it turns the brightness up along with the cpu to heat/cook the food? That would benefit me because I am on the go and weigh 355lbs of pure muscle so I need to eat... :D

No. Sorry. Apple already has a patent on that

I know this is the Incredible thread but android spin is saying that there is a rumor that T mobile employees are being trained on the HTC Desire.

If this turns out to be true, I would think that Verizon will need/want to release the Incredible sooner rather than later or they will start loosing customers that are looking for top end devices.

Well if true then Verizon better have something pretty INCREDIBLE because T-Mobile will have Nexus One, HTC HD2, and the Desire. Maybe the incredible is a combo of all 3.

I love the looks and features of this phone and may just jump ship for it if T-mobile in fact does get it and we hear no solid news of the Incredible coming to Verizon. At least I won't have to worry about it working overseas.

BTW, does anyone know or have an inkling if the Incredible will support multiple band frequencies? If it doesn't then that may tip my hand to T-Mobile.
