Help How long does it take to receive a shipping label from zte?

blakieee

Newbie
They sent me an email Saturday which asked for my name and phone information. I'm guessing I was supposed to reply to it with that information so I did and I haven't received anything since.

They sent me one...as az PDF attachment in an email. Not sure if I really want to return it like that though...

I screwed my phone up royally in Jan, called ZTE for a fix, they tried but couldn't do anything. Finally they asked for my email and told me I should send in for repairs. The next day I got an email from them asking for my phone info, which I quickly replied back to. A day or two later I got the PDF shipping label, boxed up my phone, slapped the label on it and took it to Fed-Ex. I got the delivery confirmation number that comes with the label. Monday they received the phone, Thursday I got a brand new phone in the mail from ZTE.... So I would say its well worth sending it in!! Hope this helps somebody!!

I just got mine yesterday and dropped it in the fedex box today now to wait. I really hope they fix it or send me a new phone I wasn't receiving calls and my messages were lagging. My data was going in and out I regret buying this phone so much if they don't fix it I'm probably going to switch to sprint I get a 20% discount and the galaxy s2 is reallyyyy tempting me

I am waiting since a week and a half . have contacted ZTE many times and they just do not answer

Phone is okish
and i never thought this is physically possible but their service blows and sucks at the same time

Sounds like every OS. And yes, I'd have to agree with your assessment there. Having dealt with a couple small companies located primarily in Asia, the experience has been generally positive. Unfortunately ZTE is undoing the continent's overall reputation.

I imagine their English is probably better than they let on. Isn't there a way to contact them via phone? Via Boost perhaps? I imagine they'd be happy to prod ZTE into replacing a device instead of having to worry about it themselves.

This is nuts how they dont just send a replacement first...ive been away for a while, but every other Manufacturer, they would send you a replacement phone and a shipping label to return your defective one, and if you didnt send it back within 10 days or so, they would bill you $200 or so which is fair...but now, I'd have to go 7-14 days without a phone to receive my replacement from ZTE? I think it sucks honestly...

Every other carrier, or every other hardware manufacturer? Dx You should ask for a replacement to be shipped out first.

IDK if this is directed towards me, Dx as in your diagnosing my problem? lol but um ill answer anyway, of course i asked fo ra replacement to be shipped out first, ZTE claimed they don't do that...and any other manufacturer i've worked with when I managed a retail store that sold multiple carriers and every manufacturer, would always mail a replacement FIRST, I should have went with my gut and not gone for a manufacturer i've never heard of ;\

3~10 days seems to be the norm for repair or replacement from zte, just my observation from following the posts of members who have had to send it in.Not that bad for a contract free disposable phone that's covered for nearly everything.

You know what i keep forgetting its contract free...your right it ain't bad, im comparing to contract phones b/c im used to that...;\

Let's compare it to other contract-free phones. From my personal experience with returns:

Prepaid Samsung Intercept, replacement shipped before having to send it out.

Prepaid Optimus V, replacement shipped before having to send it out.

Yep, ZTE just sucks.

Does ZTE offer replacement phones? Because they didn't fix my phone. I waited two weeks for it to come back in the mail and I'm still not receiving calls and my texts are lagging, I will receive 10 texts at once. It worked for a day and now it's messing up again. This is REALLY annoying. I spent so much money on this phone not even two months later this is what I'm left with. Besides that, I didn't get to use half a month of service that I paid for while I waited for it to come back in the mail. My hatred for this phone is pushing me toward a contract phone. It's that bad.

You could probably ask, there's a good chance they do. If they don't actually respond in an English speaking manner then there are regional offices you can call to harass too, until they at least give you a comprehensible answer.

they wouldn't. I couldn't even understand them they just wanted to send me another shipping label so I switched to sprint. I guess I can always try and sell the dang thing on ebay I see broken phones sold on there all the time.
