Root Setcpu settings

Anyone have some settings they would like to share for the best performance for our new overclock kernal. Im stable at 900/900 but there are other settings in setcpu that I don't understand.
 
try setting: up threshold: 50 , down threshold: 25
this should give u a bit more of better performance without the battery sacrifice :D
 
At 900/900, threshold is pretty much useless to mess around with.

Up/Down thresholds control the CPU scaling based on load. Lets say you had it set to 900max and 480 minimum. Up threshold would (depending on the scaling rate) be the threshold of CPU usage before it goes up to the max frequency. Down threshold is the opposite.

So 50up would mean when your phone is using 50%CPU capacity at that point, it will scale up to 900 from 480, and when you start getting down to 25% or less it will scale back down to 480 from 900.

It's basically how you can balance performance and battery life, but with the minimum and maximum frequencies the same it's useless.
 
No prob. It's also a good idea to never really pay much attention to benchmark score differences as low as 25, especially if you're using Quadrant. I've noticed that without changing a single setting the Quadrant has a +/- of around 20.

Lol well I'm guessing 1900 isn't too bad, not great but not too bad. :D
