Help Back and Menu 'light'?

Hi guys,

I have a SGS2 since a month now and love it. But, since a couple of weeks I noticed that the lights/illimnation of the back and menu button (beside the home button) are no longer ON when I touch it. It used to light up, then dim out after a sec. I thought at first it was one of the settings put in place by juicedenfer (on agressive mode) to help battery life but I just install juicedefender and same settings on my friends SGS2 and he still have the lights on both button.

Any idea if it's normal and/or how to turn them back on?

have a look in
menu>settings>display>touch key light duration

perhaps it is set as "always off"

go to settings/display/touch key light duration and set it there, it may be set to always off.
