breaking the 4GB file size limitation in android

anyone using file system ExFat or ext4? id like to throw a HD movies (usaully 5 to 10GB) on my phone from time to time and be able to play them via HDMI.

I am not, but you can format it in ext3/4 on the computer first and it should mount in Android. Otherwise, you can format again and bring it back to FAT32. Windows doesn't like ext4, but you can use ext3 and then use the FS-Driver to access it.

(It says ext2 in the title, but it supports ext3).
