Hello fellow Galaxy Note users.... I stumbled upon this free hotspot app that does not require root and works flawless....I used it to tether my iPad and I must say it does what it's supposed to.. The app is called Foxfi and can be found in Google Play.... Thought I'd share this just in case your in need of a free hotspot app... Hope everyone enjoys it....

on the Note AT&T Version you can do Tethering on it as well without Root Access.

-Settings & Wifi Network

scroll down until you see Wi-Fi Tethering.......

I think this is the whole point of the app. Free Wifi tethering with no tethering plan. The "All About Android" podcast reviewed it, and it does work with non rooted phones only. All About Android 54 | TWiT.TV (near the end of the video).
