I love miui, but can someone tell me the reason for the new build. if miui all seems the same. i cant really tell the difference like you can with cm7 to cm9.. Are there different features in 4.0 miui?

Thanks! I'll try it out! Austrie and I have been using Team Viewer 7.

Teamviewer is great for when you finally have someone on the line, groupme is awesome to have group chats on either the app or by texting.

Last night Austrie informed me that he will not be on until around Thursday. VM cut off his cell signal, so no tethering, and his wifi has been cut off. He apologizes for this inconvenience, but would like you to know when he returns it will only take about 3 more tests for this rom to be daily drivable. (Yes RIL and Data will be working very soon).

Don't like to double post, but xploPR just reported that my latest beta has RIL(3G SMS, Calling) working, still using 2.4.6 though.

Finally got RIL working on MIUIv4; the only thing left for MIUIv4 and CM9 is to fix Camera and to improve Hardware & Video Acceleration.

Sure, you can use it as the next update as a a daily driver as along as you don't need Camera. I'm waiting for FT or Static to come so I can finishing updating the ROM; right now i'm working on my other ROM.

Well the camera is not a big issue BC its an issue with CM9. I can wait for CM team to release the next release with the camera fix. Then Austrie can just patch it. Hopefully it works like that as I'm ignorant on the matter. Really appreciate the work that goes into these roms though so Thanx again.

Not knowing something doesn't make you ignorant The CM team doesn't make releases for most phones, only popular phones get official builds from CM and MIUI team. The rest are made by the phone's community developers. The camera is a kernel and driver problem that we can't (easily) fix, we either need to patch the kernel or wait for official drivers/kernels (which probably won't happen. Hope this helps.

Gaaps should be more of a preferential flash, it comes with the google apps installed, and you can update them automatically from the market.

Ok good. I just flashed (loading for now) and forgot to flash the GAPPs zip. Cant wait to test this one Love MIUI.

So I wiped my phone and flashed this rom. Its now been more than 10 mins on the Motorola logo. Seems I did something wrong.
