Root [ROM][PORT][ALPHA] MIUIv4 ICS Port | Weekly Update: 2.6.1 | Version: 0.9.0

Booting up now. Been a while but I'm going to be patient.

Just want to say, THANKS. This rom has come a long way. Finally I can flash it (use mms, data, sms regularly).

Can not wait to enjoy the glass that is MIUI ICS. Hopefully the camera will come in due time (taking a road trip in May and I want to post pics to my blog). Of course, I will be patient and trust the devs (ALWAYS TRUST THE DEVS).

EDIT: Still having trouble booting. Reflashed and everything but it still hangs on initial "Google" screen for over 10 min. I did a system format before flashing, not sure if that was the proper method. Going to do almost stock then flash this. I figure most roms have a /system format in them but who knows. I'll report back.

EDIT2: Now I can't get recovery to come up? =S Turns out plugging it in for a second fixed this ^^ Still trying to get it to boot... going stock then flashing this over that with factory and davlik reset.

EDIT3: All better :D Went stock 2.2 deodexed (doesn't remove recovery) then did data/cache factory reset then dalvik cache wipe and I'm booting up. Woot.
 
I'm so glad this rom now has data and sms, I use it heavily. Ill post my experience with it tomorrow. I've been using the latest CM7 rom and I've been waiting for this rom to have sms and data what feels like forever.
 
Its seems a bit laggy. I wish we could turned off wallpaper scroll to. But everything is working as stated. Awesome job guys

First off wipe data/factory reset, then wipe dalvik cache in advanced, after that choose zip from SD card and flash MIUI V4. :)

Reboot once or twice, if that doesn't help go into Daemon Controller and under CPU, overclock to 1.5 ghz (or whatever amount you're willing to go to) if you're willing to. :)
 
Just flashed. looking good :D

I got MIUI GB after thinking for a while that it was some girly rom but man it's awesome. The customability is awesome along with the battery life. Probably not going back to CM any time soon (No offense to those devs :p).
 
The roms usb mount app doesn't mount the sd card, it mounts the MOBILE drive. Until Austrie (or one of his testers (me :P)) fixes it, download multi mount from the Play Store and it does the same thing.
 
It's kind of laggy. Not as fast as MIUI GB. idk if I'm doing something wrong if that's the way it's supposed to be.

Pretty nice tho.
 
Can someone mirror me the previous version? I'm having trouble flashing the latest, and found (on CM9) that if I install a previous version then flash the new version that it worked properly. I posted this issue in the CM9 topic, I was having issues in the CWM Log with set_perm and symlink.

Flash Gapps from OP. Then my phone hangs(?) for more than 6 minutes on the Moto logo. I came from MIUI CM7 and have Clockwork 5.0.2.6 or whatever it is. *sigh* Not sure what the deal is. Tried like 3 times +.

Did you try downloading the files again just to make sure the files aren't corrupted ?

That's odd. Try restoring back to your latest miui back up and then do the procedure again. Make sure you flash the correct miui zip file and then the correct miui Google apps.
 
Just want to say thanks again. Runs great.

Only issue I have encountered yet is that Wallbase crashes when viewing any wallpapers rendering it unusable.

well this rom really made me change roms from froyo, but it was too slow, tried rebooting a few times, still lagged pretty bad, but it could be a fault on my part, either way awesome job, switched back to minimal restock for now, until camera gets fixed, im gonna stick with froyo.

again, appreciate all the work and keeping this device from dying. The only thing keeping me from switching to t-mo is the hopes of seeing a ics rom with all major functions working (excluding hdmi) and the box-ish look of the triumph looks awesome.
