Problem with Nexus S updating apps...
Hello I hope someone can help me.

I have a Nexus S and when i updated to ics i cant update my existing apps in the play store it says error code 921.
I've spoke with google and we've tried loads of things but they now want me to factory reset and im not going to do that.

Has anyone got any ideas what's wrong ?

Is it all apps or just a couple? If it's just a couple, it might be a problem with ICS compatibility.

Have you tried clearing your cache from your Market app?

See if that works. Also make sure that all your other google apps are working. I use Google talk to perform the test. It might be a google sign on issue as well.

I see that you've already posted this issue inside of your device's support forum without any luck. The error -921 indicates that Google Play could not find the element on the page. Just as xmr405o suggested that you should clear data from the Play Store app. Either doing that or uninstall/reinstall the Play Store application.

If none of the above works, then you might want to reconsider doing a "reset" of the device.
