Help Weird screen issue

Hi all,

Bought my wife a Desire S to replace her old Desire and found the screen behaves a little unusually. We discovered it as she bought a hard case to go with it and when the case was on the screen wouldn't respond properly and sometimes the capacitive buttons would also not work.

Without the case if you squeeze the phone on the sides quite tightly it thinks you're pressing the screen and the main clock/ weather widget at the top gets highlighted like you've long pressed on it ready to move or remove it. Let go of the sides and it stops. This might explain why it behaved strange with the case on as it is quite tight round the sides.

None of my other HTC's have done this including my Desire, DHD or Sensation.

Has anyone else seen this at all? Thinking of sending it back as I don't think it's right.

Ta,

Chris.

Definitely something wrong with it, it shouldn't behave like that
