More like a 768 mhz QSD8250 snapdragon chip than the 1ghz qsd8650. This can't be underclocked since theres a chip for that.
NKT said it feels less than the N1 (4.59 oz) but I was hoping for a real #
NKT- I'm not sure if you saw my question burried in all of those BS specs, so here goes: Is there anything that you are aware of that would lead you to believe that there is nore than one version of this phone being tested by Verizon right now?
Thanks
No, the 2 I know about are exactly the same.
At this stage of testing, they don't test different versions. The only different may be software. Hardware is pretty set. Keep in mind they've been working on this phone since the middle of last year with the final hardware signed off in Feb.
Sorry, must have missed it...
1. Yes, the back is very similar to the Eris.
2. Live Wallpapers are there. They look stunning.
3. Don't know what the N1 is actually running at. Hopefully I can get some more hands on with the Incredible to really push it and see how it performs. The short time I spent with it, it FLEW!
4. App menu is just like the Eris 2.1
5. Picture gallery is the same as the Eris 2.1 as well.
6. The optical pad was weird to use compared to a trackball. This is probably just familiarity with a ball. But an advantage of the optical is, no cruddy ball.
7. I hope to. Nothing set in stone. I tried to take advantage and gather as much as I could from the short time I had it.
Have you read the past 10 pages? You might want to take a look because I think you missed alot. What are the expected specs of the HTC Incredible now that we are closer to launch?
I read somewhere that it's going to have an underclocked snapdragon, is this true? and what about RAM and stuff, still expected to be 512mb??

No doubt this is an epic thread and after deciding to go with the N1 on VZW I have to admit I'm back on the fence. Only thing's that is keeping me leaning to the N1 is updates and the already known 1 Ghz processor. Not to mention the support from the dev community (sure the Incred will get supported too). Here's hoping it can handle Flash 10.1 and be rooted but I digress. Either way you slice it, Verizon is about to start making some serious ca$h on from it's new Android based devices!
Side note: You think we'll see some of the epic DROID style commercials?!
Let me go on record as saying I think that 6 GB ROM spec is a little crazy. Okay, a lot crazy! But think about this .... lots of phones have on board storage I can think of at least one crApple product that offers 8, 16, and 32 GB versions. So why is this so hard to believe? Also, isn't the Android team trying to work out some way to store more apps? On the other hand 6GB does seem like a weird number but this isn't the run of the mill OS we are talking about either. Just some thoughts and theories ...
Ahhh, never really realized they updated the first post when something new was posted.
Yea i was too lazy, i looked this morning and saw the pages in the 100's and was like **** and just decided not to read it. All i saw were the leaked pictures with the black back cover and i saw the silver/grey back cover and was like **** yes hahaha
Damn, underclocked snapdragon SUCKS!!!!
Someone will probably figure out how to overclock it back to 1GHZ. It is still the same snapdragon processor right as say the Nexus One?
