Root Esteem lags broken out vs 1.1

I am running vs 1.1 on broken out and my esteem lags sometimes after use and I feel it shouldn't. I am not overclocked even though I could I'm just trying to get good performance out of the phone. I get force closes and reboots sometimes to. Just came here to get some advice on what I could do to stop lag. I also I froze all games and apps I don't use often in titanium backup and found vastly improved speed. I is there any tweaks or applications I can use to improve performance. The THANKS ALL ADVICE WELCOME. What do you guys think I should do?

thats weird i run my esteem underclocked at 652 and never have any lag. are you updated to ZVD i would say it has the least lag and best battery life i am running ZVD with broken out 1.1 themed

well i think the main source of lag for the esteem is low memory and if you use memory hungry apps

+1,000,000,000 x infinity!!!!

lol i always do a reboot atleast once a day, keeps your phone running fresh, ram boosts back up and responsiveness!! plus its just good to do it every now n then..

Your not the only one man, I have the same problem. I noticed after i upgraded to ZVD that my battery couldn't get through a whole day. pulled it off the charger at 9am and was at 5% at around 7-8pm. I'm pretty active on my phone but i have a 3600 battery. It should last all day (no pun intended). I have it at 1.2gig and 652mhz ondemand. I also have fast reboot and task killer pro set at low security and kills all apps whenever the screen turns off. So I might be switching roms and seeing if that works.

1.2Ghz Max and 652Mhz Min? Maybe thats whats killing your battery :/

I use Fast Reboot Pro to "reboot" the phone on unlock and lock and use SD Maid Pro to clean out system and app cache. Nothing compares to SD Maid Pro. It cleans out so much more crap then any other cleaner. It gets everything

i also have 3600 amp battery and i still put my phone in airplane most of the time.

i have fast reboot pro and use it all the time. i just feel i shouldn't have to use fast reboot 5 or 6 times a day. i just want good or at least steady performance.

wtf are you guys doing to your phones with the 3600 battery?! i have that one, running broken out rom right now, on zvd, 1gig-300ish and i listen to music all day, facebook, videos, still has yet to actually lag, and i take it off the charger at 7am, it lasts until 9-10pm.
try getting battery calibrator and doing that or just erase battery stats through recovery, when its 100% and on the charger, reboot, DRAIN TILL IT DIES.

the only lag i get is during and ending phone calls, it takes like 5-10 sec to get the dial pad up, same to end the call. if i wanna get to home its hella fast still..... idk, maybe i just got a good one

Wiping battery stats and using so called battery calibrators are a placebo. They do as much good as giving a 80 year old man a kawasaki ninja.

LoL if you know what you are doing you don't EVER need to reboot your device. I don't EVER reboot my device unless I am installing something through CWM. Ummm, and Carlos... WRONG!!!!! Don't believe what you read from the first person that says it LoL no offense. Battery Calibration is USEFUL but OVERRATED at the same time.
