Root [CDMA] Unroot with 1.4 not 1.5 hboot

This is my second e3d. I replaced the first one bc i had a lot of issues after trying the 1.5 downgrade method. It was originally a 1.3 as is this one. But it upgraded to 1.5 after I did the unrooting process and I'm curious if there is a way to do it without the hboot upgrading?
Or should I try the 1.5 downgrade method without it even being a 1.5 ?

If the hboot isn't on 1.5 it's not necessary to downgrade it. All you need to do is follow the old root method with revolutionary and you're golden.

As far as unrooting without upgrading the hboot to 1.5, I'm not 100% sure if thats possible. Mine upgraded to 1.5 when I unrooted.

I'm curious why you'd want to unroot then downgrade from 1.5 hboot?

If I understand you right, you are currently on HBOOT 1.3 and are S-OFF and you want to be HBOOT 1.3 or 1.4 and S-ON / unrooted?

You should be able to flash the 1.13 RUU and be fine. It unroots you. Then you just need to run the commands to go back to S-ON, if desired.

Also Rocky, I removed the 2.17.651.5 RUU link from your 1.3/1.4 guide and just left the 1.13 RUU that gives Hboot 1.4.

Close, I'm on 1.4 revolutionary s-off and want to go back to 1.3 or 1.4 s-off stock

Flash either one of these two files:

One gives the Shipped bootloader, which is what you have now. The other gives the Engineering bootloader, which gives you expanded fastboot commands. Rename the file to pg86img.zip, place in the root of your SD card and reboot into the bootloader.
