More than anything, this pushes the Incredible into the, "I don't care about the N1, I'm waiting for the Incredible" zone. Without the extra onboard storage, I could imagine grabbing the N1 if the Incredible has more than 2 weeks of wait time, but this would make it head and shoulders above the N1.

All of this information is great. It seems to me that the Incredible will be a great phone. I just don't know if I can wait for it. Sounds like the N1 will be available for us Verizon users sooner. Getting tired of this old Voyager. Ready to upgrade to an awsome smart phone. To wait or not to wait? hmmm...:(

Does your Voyager have the weird "wet mark" in the middle of the screen that makes it almost impossible to dial? Or how about randomly restarting itself? I'm on my 3rd Voyager now. I baby this thing. I don't drop it, toss it around or even put it down hard. It doesn't even stay in my pocket all the time. I AM SO READY FOR AN INCREDIBLE! =(

I was...key word was in the same boat as you in terms of comparing the two phones. However, if the new info about the Incredible that has been discovered today proves to be accurate, why wouldn't you wait a little bit longer to get the phone that will arguably be the more state-of-the-art?

I'm not sure he knows what he just got himself into. A lot of stalkers on this thread, lol.
Lol, which was why I kept that hidden until I got approval. I can safely say there are 100+ people following this thread and imagine how many IM's hes going to get if all of us decided to ask him something.

Btw, if any of you guys are still questioning Stephen (Stericson)'s credibility, he's also a Moderator on XDAdevelopers forum. As I'm sure some of you guys know, that is one of the more renown dev forums on the net (along with MoDaCo, etc.).. so he has the screenshots/dumps to show, and the history to back.

Sorry, OT.. but are you talking about that large rectangle?! If so, then YES I have that on my Dare. It looks like oil/sweat on my phone, and is underneath the screen in a perfect rectangle. And YES, my Dare loves to restart on its own ALL THE TIME.

GIVE ME INCREDIBLE!

Hey, I'm still rockin' the original razr....had a razr2, but unfortunately I had a few too many drinks, and lost it....so I'm back to my Razr, until the Incredible comes to my rescue.

look at his twitter pics and you can see from the screenshots that the available phone memory has gone down. The person must still have the phone. Went from 900 to 874mb

so is there any answer why a phone that is this "INCREDIBLE" would not have at least 720p video capture? Or at least a way to dial up the processor speed if we deemed it needed?

It seems that the lack of 720p recording is software related, and the snapdragon chip in the Incredible is capable. As for the processor speed, it was provided by a reliable source to be 768MHz, but it's possible that isn't final production spec.....and if you really need to get it up to 1GHz, you can always go the root route.

Edit: there is talk that the desire also lacks 720p recording, but it could be added through a software update, and I imagine the Incredible would be in the same boat.

I'm starting to wonder how pissed some of the folks are going to be that bought a Droid, and get outside of the 30 day window when this thing launches.

Yes, my source still has his phone.

also, I thought yall would like to know he said the storage on the phone is mountable like an sdcard, he tried it while the sdcard was out, My source says it shows up as two devices.

Also, the market is the same as the droid, and Verizon hasnt done any integration with sense from what he tells me.

I'd say, unless they need a hard keyboard, very.

Maybe, but those that got the DROID on release day might be 6 months into their contract, by the time the Incredible releases, and that means only 6 months until they can upgrade to the newer phone which undoubtedly will beat the Incredible......technology evolution is amazingly fast, but that's what makes it so amazingly good.

I would like to personally thank you for taking your time to answer our questions. You're generosity is greatly appreciated.

Very true. I suppose 6 months after we get Incredible, there will be another phone on VZ for all of us lust after.

Is your source's phone more of a final version, or does he/she have an earlier dev phone?

Thanks!
