I have around 9gb of music on my SD card, and as you know the media storage thing takes AGES to scan your SD card everytime you boot, so i installed startup manager to disable it. (so as you know they won't show in the stock media player because they have to be scanned first) Anyways i've tried a lot of the free music players on the app store and most just show around 55 songs (the same songs) >>supposedly in a folder in the internal memory under /sdcard/my_music<< BUT when i go to look for that folder in astro, it doesnt exist ???! . I have all of my music stored in my external sd card under/mnt/sdcard/_ExternalSD/Music, the only app that shows all of the songs is Poweramp, but it's only a trial and i don't really want to waste any more money on apps. Any of you having the same problem? And any of you know of a music player that works? 
these are the apps i've used:
3, cloudskipper, winamp, mortplayer, mixzing, poweramp, realplayer, doubletwist, btunes, meridian and Jukefox.
i tried changing the folder destination in all of these apps but the 55 songs still showed instead of the.... idk 1000 something.
