Yeah, they did quit the direct account billing I remember reading a while back.

If the Sprint.com Pre-Sale follows the same pattern as the Galaxy Nexus last month, as far as I have found if you order on Sprint.com, you will be paying for the handset up front (they bill you and you must pay on the spot) and then they ship it out ASAP when it is available. There will be no $50 deposit required for Sprint.com pre-sales and you will not be billed later. Also, in case anyone else wonders, you can pre-order on Sprint.com without an eligible upgrade and pay full retail price for the handset on the spot.

Well A friend of mines son busted the screen on his phone and wants to buy my phone Friday on payday with all my accessories for $250. I may be able to hold off a week but if it doesn't come out till 1st week of June I may go nuts. Last year I sold my EVO4G too soon and the 3D got delayed coming out. I ended p rebuying the EVO4G and paying the 35 dollar restocking fee to have my EVO back for 3 weeks. But I am really hoping this comes out on the 18th so bad. I'm headed to best buy in the am for preorder for me and my friend who paid 115 for early upgrade. I hope were not disappointed by the battery situation on this phone only thing I am kind of worried about.

Ok well I just called Sprint 1888 # and I was told and I so hope this is right she said she just got a popup in her email that says pre orders will ship on the 16th. I asked her 3 times the 16th of May your sure so the stores should have them on May 18th and she said yes. she doubts they will get them any earlier than the ship date. And I bet if I ordered from Sprint I would get it on the 17th cause the warehouse is here where I live but at Best Buy I save 50 bucks so a day won't matter to me. My thing is how many will Best Buy get in and will I get one on there 1st shipment. They just opened at 10 I am headed there in a few minutes.

Ok, I was still typing when your post came through. So now I am like pretty sure it will be the 18th which makes me really happy cause this friend of mines son wants to buy my phone and all my accessories this Friday the 11th. I can be with out a smart phone for a week cause I have my Transformer Prime tablet. This is great though so if Sprint is shipping on the 16th they told me and the stores hit the 18th does that mean all stores Sprint and Best Buy both.

Well I'm in Best Buy pre ordering and I know if I had done sprint the warehouse is in Louisville and I would have it on the day after its shipped. They told me that stores should have them May 18th and I said even Best Buy and they said yes. I save fifty bucks by doing Best Buy. But the clerk tells me they're shipments come in on Thurs and Mon and he thinks it will be Tue May 22nd.
 
Ok, the speculation is over on the month, everyone who said before June wins! :)

Everyone that was with us on the Evo 3D may remember that because we've just moved from chit-chat to orders being taken, this is the time to start organizing our posts so our newcomers can find their way. ;)
