Help How to get a new Incredible 2?

My GPS never connects (searching for signal) and my signal is shot. I loose signal traveling down the interstate when all the droid razrs have their 4g at max. What should I tell verizon? I'm fed up with this crappy reception and gps.

This is a weird question, but to you have fastboot enabled? I ask because I was having the same issue. Once I turned off fastboot, it was resolved.

I found it, it was actually unchecked so that cannot be a problem. If i do a factory reset will i lose all my photos?

A factory reset won't touch your sdcard but if you have a computer you should backup your sdcard anyways.

I forgot the battery pull, *228 option. That has fixed my signal several times.

Are you, by any chance, using an extended battery? If so, the antennas in those doors are really bad and can kill reception, particularly GPS.

Sorry for the double posting but this is what the Verizon sales Rep told me. He said all the phones will not connect to the GPS which cannot be true. I think he means just in my area....but the problem is i know my phone won't connect in other areas. So how am i supposed to prove this if I have no proof. This sucks

Call back and speak to someone else. If that person doesn't help you out, ask to speak with their supervisor. Explain the situation calmly. If you've been out if area and tried to use gps w/o success, give them dates. My experience has been that they really do want you to be happy with your phone and will do what they can to make that happen. I can't stress enough the importance of staying calm. Go ahead and tell them how frustrated you are, but do it nicely. Chances are, they will get you into a replacement.

Good luck!

I've never had an issue with GPS anywhere. It even works inside generally (though won't pinpoint the location as accurately).

The customer service fixed it. She made me use vz navigator which fixed a "glitch" on my phone. gps now works, if only I could improve the signal now and recover my lost apps

Just to let you know if you still have warrenty (not sure if insurance is the same) on you inc 2 then vzw will give you a Samsung charge, since they no longer carry the inc 2.
