How bad is the "Throttled" Performance on Web

Just wondering- once you are "throttled" back to 1.5 G or 2G or whatever Metro's actual " lower than 4 G speed " is on the Connect;

What is it like to surf the Internet ?

Obviously - you can't play Videos, but can you play music or can you browse this Forum, and type responses without delays- flipping through the pages etc.?

What is it like at the slower speeds ?

Can you still send picture messages in 30 seconds to 1 minute ?

How long does it take to send an Email with 5 pictures ?

Thanks.

I survived quite a long time on 1x with my Samsung Fascinate, so yes, you can surf the internet pretty well, albeit at a much slower pace. I think it was usually like 30 seconds to load ESPN.com. As far as pictures are concerned, no such luck. I could not post anything to facebook other than comments and status updates.

I was just throttled. I got the text telling me i used up my limit but i've noticed that the only thing affected was youtube, pandora, and things that use flash.

Is there a way to see how much data I've used this month

My Data Manager app. It tells you what apps are using the most data good to know so, you can see what is draining your battery. Also tells how much data you use. It has 3 settings by the hour, by the day, and by the month.
