Help Battery stays at 100% after full charge

When i plug in my phone, it charges to 100% in a time frame i'm used to,
But recently it seems that it won't drain. It shows 100% until either the phone dies, in which case i have to pop the battery or it won't charge again, or until i shut the phone off and turn it back on again.

as anyone else noticed this problem and found a fix?

Samsung Galaxy S2X (Hercules model)

I read a similar issue in the T-Mobile thread a while ago. I don't have the link, but it is a defective battery or phone. If the phone is still under warranty, I would suggest contacting Telus for replacement of the battery/phone.

my phone does this all of the time if i am not using an original samsung usb cable. are you using an original samsung cable?

It has to do with the power output of the charger.
I had the same problem when trying to use an old charger from my blackberry but when using the samsung one packaged with the phone the problem goes away.

I had the exact same problem.at first it was ok with the original charger. Later on it was doing with the original charger too . Last weekend after updating to ICS, the problem went away.
