What's the worst they could do, hold our international shipments?....oh wait....:(

Make HTC ship all the phones back to Taipei and make some stupid change to each and everyone and then re-ship back to the States only to undergo a second inspection.

I bet at some point, HTC is going to win this whole patent thing, then they're going to push an update just to stick a thumb into crApple's eye.

In my opinion the damage is done, Sprint lost ALOT of pre-orders and thus HTC alot of sales. Now if they really wanted to stick it to crApple they'd hire some good lawyers and sit on a patent infrigment until a month before the iPhone 5 is announced hit it up in court and do the same to iSheep lovers. That would piss Apple off so much and it would put a smile on my face.

I sent 'em a tweet yesterday...it wouldn't surprise me if the guy running their twitter account has no clue what we are talking about though.

Years ago where I used to work, someone at our company set up a dedicated email address on our website for our customers to send us feedback about the quality of our products. After several months and not getting a single email (they were supposed to come into the mailbox in my department for us to investigate & respond) I got curious, so I sent an email to that email address and we found out they were just going into a black hole. Wouldn't surprise me if those tweets go into a black hole, too - there might not be anyone running their twitter account

I'll probably use LTEvo when typing on the forums but if I'm on break at work and someone asks me what phone I'm holding...I'm mostly likely going to reply "Evo LTE"

Nope, Anyone ask me its an "LTEVO" I accidentally said "LTEVO" at BB when I pre-ordered 5/7. I went in today "wishful thinking" and spotted a few them referring to it as LTEVO :D

When I snapped some pics of it today at BB, we referred to as LTEVO! ROFL. :)

I'm sorry, that is not only untrue, it's unnecessarily cynical.

I can't believe that you could even think that way.

All incoming tweets are warehoused on a bonded data server and fully inspected for compliance before being forwarded to Apple legal for final approval.

For your protection, this streamlined process can take merely 7 weeks with proper escalation.

Provided of course you have completed USBCPA-12358.65j/14.

Please make a note of it so I don't have to explain this again.

Thank you! :D

I have a question then, if we all know that they are in compliance... what right does apple have to stop the shipment.. or push customs to stop it rather.... shouldnt the only vice on HTC be about the patent that was involved in the lawsuit??

Why do you THINK Apple wants these stopped? Think about it. Apple may realize that HTC resolved the issue legally, but if Apple can get these phones delayed for a substantial period of time, say a month or more (and my sources are telling me that's quite probable), people will not want to wait and will instead opt for other phones, including the iPhone. Granted, not everyone will run to the iPhone, but even if a good chunk did, that's a lot of new business for Apple.

Convenient, huh?

Stop HTC and get the faithful stirred up that Apple invented everything.

I don't follow the iPhone 5 nonsense, but I recall that the 4 was released shortly after the Evo.

Of course, the good news here is that before you know it, the new iPhone will be here, and someone will be sure to ask - What will Android do to catch up with the iPhone 5?

And we'll know the answer.

Update our LTEvos to Froyo.
