Really really hope there are more phones in the shipment than there are pre-orders. I've got a guy at my Sprint store who promised me he'd save one for me once they get them in. Really hope they aren't just all for pre-orders.

its possible Wednesday could be national launch day and sprint will get the go ahead to ship pre orders tonight after business close. this would get pre order customers to get theirs by Tuesday and still allow those folks to be among the first to get the device. then Wednesday the rest of the cats can get theirs at the stores...

So...looks like the 25th may end up being the new release day. Not Wednesday, but...I can deal.
 
I really hope this just isn't for preorders for sprint but for all the other stores as well. My store has 21 preorders counting mine. If I have to wait another week before I get mine ill find some sort of legal action in this whole debacle. Or just tell people not to shop at best buy hhaha

Customers who pre-ordered HTC EVO 4G LTE…Your wait is almost over! Sprint expects to begin shipping HTC EVO 4G LTE for arrival on or around Thursday, May 24 to customers who pre-ordered the device online from Sprint.

We will provide details on the full national launch as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone who has been patient while waiting for their HTC EVO 4G LTE. We will continue to update this post as additional details are available.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking number the moment your new phone ships.

Just called my local Sprint store to feel them out as to when they think they might start selling to walk ins and was told that they had a waiting list for those who didn't get in on the pre-orders but it closed once this most recent internal notice was released. She then told me I could put my name on the waiting list for the waiting list. what the..?? lol


No more Junior!!! ;-)
