You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking number the moment your new phone ships. We apologize but we cannot support any further cancel requests at this time as our warehouse is processing orders. Well I hope that the latest the B&M stores get the phone is Friday. I'd be pissed if everyone was playing with these phones and I was stuck waiting till next week.

Eh, most retailers don't rely on Sprint for distribution. Since they were all locked down, I suspect places like BB and RS will have theirs shipped pretty darn quick to their stores. They were probably packed and ready to go to the stores already.. I am smelling tomorrow hehe

Great news to find here when I got home from work! I only pre-ordered my phone last week but now I'm getting excited, I sure hope I like this phone after all this craziness

I might not have been clear. Even if BB and Radioshack got the phones tomorrow morning, would they have to wait for Sprint to give them an on sale date before they could start selling them? Or could I walk in the same day the shipment arrives and pick the phone up?

HTC EVO 4G LTE officially cleared to ship May 24th http://phandroid.com/?p=95546 according to this Sprint officially announced the device launch date will be the 24th so i pray to god this is true and will happen and hopefully that means our devices will ship tomorrow since that's 2 1/2 days away let's hope!!!!

Any word on the BB pre-orders? In a classic situation, I will be getting on a plane starting early Thursday morning (before BB opens) and I won't be back home until Friday evening. If Friday ends up being official release date, will BB hold my pre-order through Friday night - Saturday morning, or am I SOL here?

I can't say for sure about bb but I can tell you that radioshack told me they will only hold the phone for you for 3 days so I would assume ( you know what happens when you assume) that bb would have a similar policy
Their agreement is to wait for the carrier release and coordinate the sales date with them.
That said - during the Nexus release, while even those with BB friends couldn't get it done, one guy walked out of a BB a day early with his phone. He took pictures to prove it - and the BB employee called him begging him to return it so the guy didn't lose his job.
Another guy had an eager store manager sell him one a day early and didn't care what Verizon said about it.
So - exceptions exist, but the rule is they have to follow the carrier on public releases.
