Thats what i mean-so odin is not needed-just restoring the files in CWM advanced recovery-just another way back to base-just another option you know?

got better battery on both my OG Droid and TB due to roms/kernels and things I could do with them. Not really on the Gnex. The OG wasn't that much but going from 12 to 14 hours on sense to 18 to 20 hours on AOSP with the TB was noticeable

Samsung uses rfs which is quite battery efficient . Use ext4 and the battery dives -2hrs . So with tweaks I get somewhat 15 minutes extra ...
But If i use JFS ,i get a roughly 4 hour boost to battery but not sure if it is good FS .
 
On the OG Droid for me it was kernel and kernel tweaking that had the most effect...on the TB it was rom type that had the biggest effect...
 
You see if i write "battery efficient ROM " as a feature 60% of people will think that ROM is battery efficient since they feel they should be rewarded for rooting and rom-ing ...
1 hr is a negligible outcome IMO . 3 hr+ is what is termed as a desired outcome ..

True you should just put that on your rom description people would go for that.

For me as long as the phone lasts thru the day I am fine...
